Hey there! The name's Teija - new to these parts so just wanted to say g'day and in saying this - yes, im admitting to being australian (sunshine coast represent!) although abroad at the moment. Got into poi while snowboarding in Whistler, Canada.

You wouldn't believe it if I told you.. Big hailstorm.. You didn't need to go all the way to Whistler to snowboard

G'day!
I love hail, i go out and swing to it if its under 1.5 inches
the pacific northwest of america blows when if comes to weather x.x its all rainy here...i wanna move to australia now and get pelted by hail....pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt!...hhmm wait most of the wildlife there last time i checked can kill me dead....maybe get eaten by a wallaby or bit by a sydney funnelweb spider or better yet a koala! i wanna loose a finger to one of those! hehe

Not really much that I noticed, but it took everyone by surprise. Happened just when the met service failed! Noone saw it coming- cars on the road and everything. Must have been a couple of accidents I imagine. Didn't see any blown off roofs though, thankfully (saw the roof of an apartment block get torn off in a storm last year..)
