I had a peach yogurt and some fruit...of course a full veggie fry-up would have been better but I didn't get out of bed in time. And I forgot to buy the right stuff yesterday...

Every morning I have Honey and nut cornflakes, with bananas, stawberries, and kiwis put on top biggrin And a pice of toast with peanut butter and strawberry jam. Serve with cut of tea! Saturdays and sundays, take away the toast, add scrambled egg and a roll. Mmmm never really been a breakfast eater until I came here biggrin Always fresh fruit, yum!

OJ and Bagels! All american!

It is?

I thought scrambled eggs and buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup was the all american breakfast...

bagels are for yuppies, who we all know are trying to be european but failing miserably.

most american's didn't even know what a bagel was till 15 years ago or so...

we do drink lots of OJ though.

it never ceases to amaze me what is described as american as I travel around the world. I've found so called american stuff in south africa and germany that bears no resembalance to anything I have ever seen my 33 years of living in the states.

south africa also had a penchant for advertizing things as "texas style", which I found particularly interesting since i KNOW texas doesn't have anything like most stuff they called that.

so in that regard I guess bagels could be called american in comparison.

I personally think they are from New York city, which we all know isn't really part of america...
