Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too.
Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

I'd like to point out that we have been advertising at the southampton university juggling club and will hit the bournemouth spinners too come easter. we've been trying to organise everything at the moment and sort out budget, bands, performers (looks like we'll have a fire jousting performance possibly on unicycles by Fiery Jacks circus show) although that is TBC we have the guest list to sort out, rotas for workshops, performances and the gate, fliers and poster advertising for the day tickets quite a lot, that's why I asked you my dear 
your sooo good at it plus probably know more people than I do.
besides, I'm in charge of the gate so will be up for a VERY long time over the weekend not really enjoying myself until the last night when people have gone home.

It is! I'm not the biggest fan of teh big festivals, but this one is going to be really really good! Plus we get to dress up! I love dressing up!

we've got it all planned out. Theres a store down the road that does matching ones, quite cheap too, so everyone will have the same one. I have to pre-pack them before we go to the festival, so weapon allocation will be fair, and we will all have the same uniform, and lots of fake blood

I started to sa I started it but it seems pointless now because I just got told my mothers dog has been put down thismorning becauser she had a massive tumour ans 1 1/2 of fluid drained fron her but nothing could be done. 1 1/2 pints is a lot for a jackrussel to hold and I feel a bit weepy now. she was 15 so it's not like she was young or anything but you get attatched to pets.
