Ok so hate to be a spoil sport but...
Does any one eles hate valentines?!
Every year i start off telling myself that i wont let it get to me but every year it does. Going through town are couples an the public shows of affection, resturants all loved up and pink and heart shaped ballons eeeeeeeeverywhere, grrrrr!
Im sure it would be lovly to spend a valentines with a partner but scew me it doesnt half suck without one!

there are like 2 other valentines threads up already,
do a search, i have seen this covered before
You can't avoid pain by fencing yourself from it.
Some times you need the help of others more than anything else
But you have to let them close enough to help......
People want to be needed, I found that out too

hahahahaha! don't think these 2 threads fit together... I don't mind Valentine's day actually (as long as you keep in mind that there may be better ways to show someone you like them than spending money), a day dedicated to love is really cool... though yeah, it sucks to be single, but it's not that different from any other day

this holliday has turned to comercial crap.........not the whole love this, hug that, kiss kiss, bla bla bla, but the buy this, spend money here, its a comercail holliday...............
now if you will excuse me i have to go buy an over priced toy bear for my daughter, a card and some sweets for my mom, a dozen roses for my grandmother..........

valantines day sucks all over....i can safely say i have never had a very good time on valantines day.
i have a gf but today still sucked, the worlds too busy, too rushed
thus letting me see her for a measily hour
so screw valantines day.......bring in chilled out/love (if you have somneone) day

I recon v'day should be abolished.
If you care about someone you shouldent need a ''special'' day to show them you care, you should do that every day. So stop rubbing the salt an vinagar into my wounds thank-you-please!

Even if you do choose to celebrate it, dunno about you guys but I'd rather a nice cooked dinner and some quality alone time than one of those creepy valentines teddy bears (seriously, they're creepy) and an overly sickly-sweet card. I hate pink (The colour, not the peron obviously).
