Posted:naw, but it could be fun to breath (not eat...well, except accidentally swalling the rum, not making a ready-made fire-pan for fire-eating)

Posted:hey firemike, yep i'm a fan dancer. i've been doing fandancing off and on for the past eight years. I originally learned how to dance with huge (four feet wide)ostrich feather fans from this odd but really nice fellow that i met down in olypmia. fire fans were the first fire toys that i learned a few years back through lots of trial and error. those are fun, difficult to build but worth it. i wrote an article a while back on it, i think it is in the other toys thread at the momment.

anyhow, glad you took the time to read the newspaper story, i'm pretty happy with it.

Posted:I'm glad to see the article includes a large section on safety.

My troupe did a segment for a local TV show on ABC in late June. We wound up giving over several of our 5 minutes of air time to talking about safety. Luckily we could do this while just talking over our images.

congrats on the publicity, and keep up the good work.
