"the 1, the original" is from a Dog Boy cartoon penned by a rather excellent artist friend of mine (daughter of Pete Lord, co-founder and MD of Aardman, creator of Morph etc)

Apologies for the blatant namedrop, but anyways, it is clearly a great priviledge to be described using a quotation from one of her illustrations.
