Can someone please help me resize an image I want to use as my new avatar?

I'm not very technical, and the only program I have is MS Paint.

ok but you'll get some image degredation. Go into MS Paint, go to 'image', go to 'stretch/skew' and change the percentages to alter the size of the image. Btw, make sure you do the same % on both horizontal and vertical to keep the same shape of the image. smile

*trying not to laugh*

Well mistress Flash is obviously so centred on her task of moderating the boards that she doesn't have time to learn anything else....

*fondly remembers the pep talks she used to give him concerning how to behave as a mod and how to leave all the technical stuff to those that give a monkey's*

tongue just kidding!

I've ALWAYS said, from the very start, that I'm not technically inclined. Technical stuff just doesn't float my boat, and in an effort to maintain buoyancy I generally steer clear of it and utilise the "need to know basis" philiosophy. Now, excuse me while I get back to my highly people-oriented, creative and humanities based life! wink
