i was playing rugby yesterday and broke my index and middle fingers!!
(also 2 toes but thats not important)
this means 6 weeks of no spinning
i need a surrogate hand
any offers?

Oh thats awful..Like's been said earlier.. practise your one handed spinning?
Try 2 man poi.. Dunc and RosscoBossco have mastered the 2 man 5 beat.
Or master foot poi?

Funny you should mention that... sad as it may be, I got some buzzsaw practice in earlier sitting on the loo. I'm going to make some nice waterproof practise poi for the bath, too... I'll sit cross-legged sideways and do airwraps

Argh!! of all the fingers you have, it had to be those two?! gutting.
Pink> there might be a problem with the foot poi, see: broken toes too
Maybe you could do one poi with your hand and the other with your foot? unless the broken bits are on the same side of your body, in which case that might not work at all... how did you even manage to do that, there's so many bones in between and they're alright??

Can people actually do 'foot poi'?
I tried but it made my whole leg ache, and I couldn't do anything but swing it in circles.
So, can any one actually do anything good like that?

i broke the fingers on my right hand and the toes on my left so il try 1 poi on my left hand and 1 on my right foot *lies on back and spins franticly in any direction* its fun

my boyfriend broke his hand when he was skating the other day (well more like 5 weeks ago) split the bone of his middle finger in his hand, and chiped a bone in the start of his wrist. owchys. hope your ok!
he had to have 5 weeks off work and acc wouldnt pay him what they were supost to. hope you dont have the same problems! spin with one hand! make up a new noddy way of spinning!

I've seen a guy do a 3 beat weave with his feet. Most impressive.
He did smack himself in the nads though. That wasn't so impressive. Just slightly funny.
There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.
