saw something simular done, they created the tails with a thin Kevlar Rope. looked quite good but the tails didnt seem to flow aswell.

oh dear i can see all sorts of injurys and burns and sore things happening because of this * runs away to hide under the veranda because of two people who scared her* it would look bloody good but i still think it would hurt if the kevlar whiped you

Yea I can see why you would be scared. I thought about how the tails of regular comets whip me if i do inside moves. But hey just dont do buzzsaws and corkscrews and you should be fine, I think I dunno I was just thinking how cool it would look since regualr comets looks pretty cool.

I can see it now big 5 foot tails of fire spinning around me

you know.. CirRus and I both do bare arm wraps... like glowstringers even. And we do it with monkeyfists.. *Look in the shop to see what they are* But he's making fire ropes.. So he's gonna have 2 feet of flames around him. Should be enough.. right? Right? meep..

ive thought of this. i made myself a brand new set of fire ropes last night. they are very good fun.
but adding flaming tails to poi using rope.
hmmmm got to be worth a try but im sure it wouldnt flow too well.i was using the 1" rope this weekend and to get it to bend 180 you have to hit it with a hammer.
maybe a leather made flight to drag the tails back a bit make them stay behind the poi heads more
id hate to getthose tangled round with me. think of the amount of oxygen those tails would be getting. they would be hot.
