OK! I'll text you anyway so you get my number! There is a train at 5.30, which would give us 30 minutes before the club started to maybe find it (after our last attempt!), and get something to eat maybe, or there is a train 15 minutes after that.

Getting back there is a train at 10.30, I don't really want to be any later than that, considering I won't get back till 12 if I get this train and I have uni in the morning etc. There is also a train at 10, if we wanted to leave early. Anyway, we can decide that when we get there!

Have you asked Norma if she would like to come at all? I think Dave might come (new guy at juggling if you don't know him).

Sorry guys, we're not going to make it through to edinburgh this week after all as me and kupsch are ill, and the other guy doesn't want to go on his own. Sorry, maybe see you some other time though.

Dave- he's only been coming to juggling for a few weeks - long mousy brown hair, you might not have met him yet. He's a begginner, but he's got most of the basics.

Ok, this is one weeks notice for a mad two hour doubles staff workshop on the meadows. (Yes I know... frown ) Maybe if I'm good, I will force y'all to pay a pound so I can rent the tepooka space. (but it's not much warmer than outside)

So it's Saturday the 10th, on the meadows, (firepoint) at 2-4. Dress warm, bring a biscuit and a wee drink maybe. (there will be a warm up, and constant keeping warm exersizes smile )

Hope this time is alright for most people, send me abuse if not and I might change it. Will also consider doing a beginners single staff contact workshop the two hours beforehand if people are really keen and not here on sunday the 18th.

So to recap: This workshop is for people that have picked up double staffs before (but not for very long, say... a week) and want to learn a little bit of everything. (cos that's what I'm teaching) lots of spinny goodness, a teensy bit of doubles contact, and some doubles throws.

Payment will be made in biscuits and improving my teaching technique. (The last one is very important) You MUST give me feedback. This is my only condition. smile

Thanks

meg

You're all slackers!

The people that did turn up learned loads! Possibly too much, cos they said to slow down next time.

Plus there is the possibility I will run this workshop again, and yous will come along to it and have the benefit of hindsight.

Bug me, if you want to learn doubles. biggrin

Thanks meg. On saturday I was indeed frown

Had small mole removed. They used the (somewhat extreme!) method of punching an 8mm diameter, 1 cm deep hole in my back, then closing it up with 3 stitches. It's ridiculously annoying and incapacitating given its size, probably something to do with where it is (base of spine, over sacrum - no bending over for me!)
