I got bored so I decided to change this again.
Name: Elanna (remember, folks, "Ela" is spelled with one 'L' not two).
Age: Himitsu da.
Location: Central Jersey, or Newark, DE.
Hobbies: Spinning, music, chainmail, slackline walking, martial arts/weapons, anime, video games, reading, skating/dancing, sleeping...
Spinning for: A few years, but nothing to show for it.
Favorite toys: Staff, fans, poi, eating torches, slackline, a nice piano, my NES
Books: I love to read, so there are few books I've read that I dislike. I prefer fantasy novels, though.
Movies: Anything by Mel Brooks, The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, any of the Monty Python films, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR, The Princess and the Goblin, the old Disney movies, the list goes on and on...
Favorite color: Blue.
Favorite websites: HoP, of course.

I've been emailing my language partner and saying goodbye and it's so sad! I'm leaving for Tokyo in several hours since I'll be going around Tokyo instead of staying here in Kobe for the weekend. And on Monday I have to return to the states. I don't wanna goooo!!!! I wanna stayyyy! I absolutely love it here...China or Japan. Either or. I could definitely live in one of those two countries. Kaeritakunai yo! This past month has been one of the best months of my life, if not the best. There were some not so cool things that happened, but they were incredibly few and got burried under all the awesomeness. If I had any doubts about doing the JET program, they are now completely gone.
So sad... At least I'll be home for only a few days 'fore going to visit my relatives in Iran so I'll forget about my Japan-deprivation amid the chaos that ensues whenever my family goes to visit.

I hope to study there again in a couple years. I didn't get to spin much since my injury was still new and didn't like it when I practiced. There's apparently a bunch of spinners in Tokyo, but I unfortunately did not have the chance to meet them. My two papers took longer than I expected to write.
Funny thing about that picture...That anime is actually the first one I ever bought and watched the whole way through.
Being back is good and not so good...I love Japan and it was really nice to get away from everyone and everything and not only start on a new page, but a brand new book as well.
I hope to study there again in a couple years. I didn't get to spin much since my injury was still new and didn't like it when I practiced. There's apparently a bunch of spinners in Tokyo, but I unfortunately did not have the chance to meet them. My two papers took longer than I expected to write. It's still giving me problems when I do certain things and I've lost a lot of strength. Opening bags and bottles and such is rather difficult and I sometimes have to ask for help. I'm going back to the doctor before I leave for school. It got passed off as just a deep bruise before but it's been over two months and I've still got pain so I'm thinking I did a wee bit more than just bruise it.
