Alas... I have finally gotten to post again. New membership.
I used to be known as... BoboDCL *cue for mysterious music*
Well, here's what happened. In the changeover from olf HoP to new HoP, I couldn't log on anymore. And yes, I tried to get it to e-mail the password I'd already had memorized.
But after four days of waiting.... waiting... crying, and more waiting, and every five minutes trying again to log in, I gave in, and made a new account. *sigh*
And, I like the new HoP.
So sue me!
Ooookay, for the real intro stuff!
Name: OrangeBobo, call me Bobo. Or, call me Linz. Either or.
Age: uh... I turn 16 in October ^^'
Birthday: October 2nd, oh yeah! I'll be expecting presents
Intrests: poi, staff, contact staff, orange, music, violin, viola, guitar, and whatever instruments I can pick up, orange and black, sleeping, walking, wind, camping, survival camping, orange, and reading.
So, what kind of music exactly? Well: Everything but twangy country, and rap. Underground stuff is cool, because it's not mass produced, like me (thank god 
) Also, I find that Finnish rock bands are really good (see: Nightwish and HIM). Any other Finnish rock bands you know of, send 'em this way, I'll love ya forever. Always on the look out for good techno. And crazy drum music. Love that crazy drum music
For clarification: I'm female. Don't let the name confuse ya.
Spends too much time: on the computer, HoP chat, at school, not spinning, and doing chemistry >.<'
Favourite colour: Orange. Duh. Orange and black. And all though I said at one point I was Orange's lover.. it wasn't THAT Orange (because there actually IS a spinner named Orange) And in actual fact, I have no lover (considering the age, neh?)
Future Plans: Graduate highschool (hopefully bilingual, French), travel for a year (visit all spinny buddies in UK, Europe, OZ and NZ), Uni, teach English in Japan, and then teach French and Music in OZ.
Likes to: blast cheesy music, and dance around bedrrom while getting ready for school, and chatting on HoP chat; do the weave, for long periods of time; sleep; randomly change hair colour.
Thinks that: The world is not enough Fire is alive. Music is the ultimate form of expression, next to physical expression (poi). Older siblings are a pain, but you can't help but love them! Glomps will take over HoP (they're working at the chat, slowly yet surely )
Oh, I don't think I mentioned this: I like orange.

My mom and I went shopping the other day and we found this pair of orange pants that were quite lovely... I was gonna buy a pair for ya, but unfortunately I'm broke...
There's not a whole lot of orange stuffs here in Italy, but there are quite a few orange trees along the road in Sorrento.

I'm almost starting to wonder if this was a good idea... Surrounded by such negativity
But after spending the last four hours re-rolling them, don't know how I could imagine me thinking such thoughts! At least my mum doesn't seem to mind, or she's just not telling me.
My grandparents probably won't appreciate this either. Hmm... But they're too nice to say anything!
I heard my dad talking to my brother in my kitchen... "Let's hope she gets this one out of her system quickly, eh?" Because in his eyes, everything I do, is because of some new fad, and I just want to be a part of it. He thought poi was the same thing. But, almost a year later, and I'm still spinning, and now he shows it off -.-;
He'll probably get used to it, just like everything else I do... Thenagain, I leave for a year in 34 days...

Dont worry about the negativity, from the smiles of your friend and you in the pics (although you werent smiling that much missy, but i can understand that, seeing as how your hair was being all pulled to heck...) It looks as though your dreads were given an auspicous birthing of fun and adventure amongst friends, and with all the loving that you are giving them, they will do wonderfully!
Just keep em clean and tidy and your family wont be able to bag them out. Your dreads are just stunning!!!

And pounce, I so know how you feel, and I completely sympathize with you. I wish there was some way to make parents more acceptable to the things that really get at them. But it's just another part of life. Can you imagine how spoiled we'd all be if the parents were okay with eveything?! I can't imagine :o

I was sure I was goingto be a tolerant parent but alas I am not. My kids still have to eat their greens and go to bed when I want them too. They still often wear shoes to the shops as well.
