I've met a muse
he's a young man, who is amazing at poetry, and as sometimes happens, you meet someoen with a shared interest, and it makes you inspired again.

Thanks so much Andrew. You kick ass pikachu!
Time and Money:

deviant dreams, cold and tasteless, black and helpless, shivering
dripping and dank, like long locks of wet hair, wrapped around a childs finger
coarse and pliable, curled and tight, not quite ready for reality
weak and brittle, like sugar candy cooked too long, they look at me
they look at me, i pretend like i dont care, i dont care. i cant afford to care
it takes time and money, and i dont have those luxuries, they are a commodity i cant wear
they are a shirt two sizes too small, they are a shoe that gives you blisters
they are new jeans without pockets
its uncomfortable and strange and new, inconvenient and dry
dry and tastless. Why do things have no taste?
like flour on your tongue, like pennies with the faces worn off
like ppl with silicon smiles, like being told to have a good day at the supermarket
its all empty, its all despair and dark, its timeless and forgotten
its a library under a jungle, or a poet with a black eye, its torn and frail like a kite
its weeping and cursing when no one wants to listen, i dont curse, it takes time
i dont have time, time is a commodity i cant afford
its waiting for daffodils in spring, its pruning the roses before you move house, its going on a diet because you buy clothes that are too small
its not caring but pretending you do. Do you care? i cant. they look at me
they look at me and i dont care.

Coming over to Flynty's thread for a good-night smile but all I got was faceless pennies and vacant grocery store pleasantries.

It's pretty. But sad.

{Sulks off to sleep and wait for daffodils..}

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

NYC Sweetling, the grocery smiles arent from me, they're from..... "them"... the poem is not meant to be 'pretty'. its meant to make you think.

but, more importantly, you shall always get bedtime hugz from me, and you should know that! xoxoxox check your pm's please?

C@ntus, i think its more because i'm used to being around an exhorbant amount of tall people. because, really, i'm only six feet tall, and thats not so much. not at all.

*shrug*
Bram, honey. Take the plastic bag off your head. That will help with the sweating problem, ok?

No, I get the poem that's why {sigh}.. see I was being self reflexive with ...{mumbles uninteligably} the pennies... daffodils... people never seem to know when I'm kidding... with the sarcasm... i get the poem... i know it wasn't supposed... don't have to be Becket to get a... pretty ... imagery with the darkness and the facade... sitting in my room... staring at the walls... thinking about everything...
...thinking about nothing...she started screaming
And I go "What? What's the matter?"...
..."What's the matter with you?"..."Nothing"
..."Don't you me nothing! You answer!"...Why don't you give me some Pepsi"..."No. You're on drugs. You're crazy. Normal people don't react in that way"..."I'm allright I'm just thinking, you know So why don't you like gimme a Pepsi"..."No. You're crazy"...
I'm the one who wants the Pepsi... just one Pepsi
...And she wouldn't give it to me... JUST ONE PEPSI!... I'm not crazy... INSTITUTION... You're the one who's crazy ...Institution...
You're driving me crazy!

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

Hmm, I've been trying to write down my opinion of that poem, but everything I say makes no sense when I read through it again.

So, to put it bluntly: It's good and I like it
It certainly had the desired effect of making me think.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Wow, it works without the undies???
I always thought that superhero powers worked because of the underpants on the outside

Flynt, is onwards and upwards your super hero saying? You know how Buzz Lightyear says 'to infinity and beyond' the terminator says 'I'll be back'........

I guess that makes mine 'you are evil and must be destroyed!' Do I have to stop wearing my undies on the outside?

Jimba darling, you should know better than that.

Onwards and Upwards. Chronicals of Narnia, i do believe it was the last book? but the title alludes me at present.

and yes. Stop wearing your undies on the outside. For someone who works in a religious profession, you probably should avoid looking certifiable.

Let us know how it goes.

Was the Silver Chair the one with the tall swampy thing that burns his foot to put out the incence fire that's drugging the prince? Or am I thinking of something completely different?
