Posted: Try learning also the baton style release, which is propelled off the thumb, giving incredible control and propulsion to the toss. I wish I had a link for you, but I'm sure you can find one. This will also add challenge to some tosses listed above. Depending on what you want to do with your toss, for sheer shock value of the release, or the extent of activities while the staff is in the air, it may be helpful. Good luck, and remember, ALWAYS SPOT YOUR STAFF, or you'll have a nice surprise landing on you.
