Posted: most of you probably call it a boot. i call it a trunk....either way, my staff was in it when i totalled my car the other day (im ok thnaks for asking:) and now it is seriously warped...
does anybody know where i should look to have it straightened out (its aluminum)...like what kind of business (machien shop maybe? idont know) would have the right kinda tools...
or is it just hopeless....

Posted: It's it's pipe... Good luck. I'd hand-straighten it as best I can, and leave it at that. Mine's always a little bit off. You get used to it pretty quick, it's not that bad. And you can't tell when you're spinning. If it's sollid... Couldn't help ya. Good luck!

Posted: Bend it back by hand as best you can...and use it to lend to others i.e. get another one.
I go through about 4 staffs a year for performance purposes. It's not worth the wobble or lack of fireballs (burnoffs) when in front a big crowd.
When you think about it, it's pretty cheap entertainment to have a staff last 3-5 months when a two hour movie here in NZ costs $13!!!!
Don't worry about it, and get a new one...
