Should I just dip them for a few seconds or soak them all the way through, or put them in the fuel the night before?
And what is the best fuel to use? In light and safety.

here is a link to give you info on pre-soaking -vs- dunking..
as far as fuels go, someone else will have to help you with that.. the names outside the US confuse me.
