Just to let you peeps know that a few of us are heading into clapham common this Sunday.

Place: Clapham common bandstand (or nearby)
Time: From approx 4:00pm til 10:00pm

We are hoping the weather will hold out. If the weather is good we will discuss whether we should make it regular again.

This was very popular last year check out the PIP clapham thread.

Yup, regular as (fairly rusty) clockwork.

Well, y'know. Its on if the suns shining.

If there isn't a torrential downpour you can be pretty certain me + dave will be there

and have one of these for not knowing about it till now. Although I suppose you've been quite a busy pixie.

Did not make it Sat as weather was so nice I went for a long walk and was then too pooped to make it to Clapham.

Anyone up for a firey session this Saturday?

Ireland vs England Saturday so I will be in Bedford in Balham drinking beer, getting merry and watching the fine thighs smash into one another. Would be nice to go and spin fire afterwards as I will be in the vicinity (and hopefully weather will be as fab as it was yesterday). If anyone is up for a Saturday spin let me know!

Come faeries, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame.

Just letting a you peeps know that quite a few of us will not be there due to a gathering of poi peeps in camden at the jongleurs club. It starts at 5:00pm on sunday if anyone is interested!

Although that does not mean that noone will be in clapham but I am not sure how many will turn up with this other thing goin on!

&, forgive my ignorance, how can one get to Clapham Common by tube?

It's not a place I go often.

aha, I know this one.

Permission to be really helpful?

To get to Clapham Commom on the tube, you go to helpfully titled Clapham Common tube station

You could even go to clapham south if you like, or if you would like a slightly different walk, then clapham junction is also an option.

hope that helped.

Yeah I have spoken to a few peeps and we are planning on going to clapham tomorrow. Hopefully we will have a nice large crowd as the weather is beautiful and it is too rude to stay indoors.

Anyway hope to see you there

I see. And it will be obvious where you people are as soon as I get out of the station?

I may well turn up, then.

Ah, the wonders of organising meetings that no one turns up to, been in that situation many times .

I do plan to come down to London a few times this summer to these events, but as it costs me a tenner to travel down I think i'll wait till it's warmer and there's guaranteed more people than 2

Flid, in my experience if you get in touch with London peeps and tell them you're coming for a spin etc then they organise stuff for you and make sure others turn up etc.

Not as good as Sheffield people but still you can't have everything now can you?

Spinning and sunshine anyone?

Temperatures up to 26 degrees on Friday!! Anyone fancy meeting up for a spin on Friday / Sat eve instead of Sunday as Reclaim the Beach is on Sunday?

Edit - forecast for Fri is high of 22 low of 11, Sat high of 19 low of 9. Friday is of course Good Friday though - a day of fasting and reflection rather than poi and partying. Hmmm, decisions deci sions

you lazy git Simon!!

Well all going well, providing I'm not going to be holed up in Durham feeling bitter at having to work I will be in Clapham on Fri enjoying the sunshine and chilling out.

Although I could do that just as easily in my back garden. Hmmmm!

I'm sorry, I totally didn't read your post properly. I thought you were saying meet up earlier on Sunday.

I'll probably manage to drag myself away from Saving the Universe to do some spinnin' on Friday.

But if the Space Pirates take over Tallon IV and destroy the Chozo Artifacts then I'm blaming you.
