Posted: hey i was reading earlier about spinning while doing au sem mao(arial)...wich to me is crazy, and since i can't do an arial i have been trying to spin while doing an au batido(L-kick) and one handed handstand...i was wondering if any one else is atempting these kind of thigs lately?...i am trying to work out some sort of thru leg wraps into and out of an au batido
wow that's hella cool! remember to stretch muchly, or you'll be twice as likely to injure yourself! if you do a search, there's been instructions on how to perform aerials n stuff - and alot of talk about twirling with the ginga.
yeah i have read a lot about learning how to do aerials...but i still can't...i can barely do a one handed cartwheel, hehe...i'll have to check out that stugg about spining in the ginga...there are a few really good capoiera kids in the fire group here, but i rarely spin with them...i do need to start stretching though i'm always sore now that i'm up on my hands all the time
