oh man, i went to london on tuesday and i'm never going back!!!
how do you locals drive around it? i went from truro to outer london without a hitch, yet as soon as i got in it was impossible. i was looking for brixton academy and i got so lost! even with my girlfriend navigating! we ended up abandoning the car in queensway and getting a taxi to the academy and back. on the way out we got lost again! we must have put an extra 20 miles on "touring london"!
maybe it was me, i'll just stick to cornish roads in future

Agreed. London traffic sucks. You have to wonder why they bother at all with such a great public transport system.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

Yeah, must have been a special gig!

I drive round London quite a lot now, cos I've lived here for 6 years, but it's a bitch if you're not used to the aggressive driving style and how to get from one place to another.

Mostly I'd recommend going to somewhere in Greater London and then get a travelcard and use the Tubes. Much easier.

Hope you got back to Truro unscathed!

Why is it that everthing which is fun is illegal, immoral, or fattening?

we went up to see janes addiction! i've loved them since i was a teeny grunger back in the early 90's, ah, those were the days!
the thrills and the darkness were playing too, it was mtv2's 5th birthday party.
i was even on the tv footage, a milisecond of my grinning head!
it was kinda worth it, janes played too much stuff off of strays though. that album doesnt sound like them to me

Respect! You drove from Truro to see Jane's Addiction!
I saw them last year at the Forum, playing their first gig since they reformed. The audience was full of people who'd waited years for the moment and the atmosphere was amazing. They played all the classics and were truly amazing!

London's pretty dire to drive in if you don't know what you're doing. The roads do silly things or disappear randomly and the signposts are pretty useless. It's purposeful to confuse outsiders

Respect - But not because you went to London, because you came from Cornwall - it's official that Cornwall rules. (I'm not at all biased even though i'm half cornish.)

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.
