colours
"I just received my set of these flagpoi I ordered the green and lime one. The colours somewhat differ from those you see on the screen. The green is really neon and lime is actually just neon yellow still nice just different. I'm still getting used to flag poi myself but I find these a bit light I think I'll make them somewhat heavier. They make a great 'woosh' sound though and they look beautiful"

"i can't decide whether to give 3 or 4 stars for this. i was expecting something a little bit heavier other flags i used before had a little sand pocket in the corner making them heavier and thus easier for me to spin. but these flags actually are very comfortable once i got used to the lightness. the sound they make is a little frightening but that's a problem with all flags :) other than the lightness i think these are very nice."

I prefer Zuni poi
"I bought these as a replacement for my old Infinity Toys Zuni poi. The weight is far too light you'll need to take out the balls and weight them if you want something heavier. The flags are nice and the fact that they detach is great but they just have a light feel to them that I can't get over."

Good for new spinners
"These are great for people new to fire but they have a shorter burn time than Cathedral wicks or Monkey Fist. Made very well and no worries about them coming apart and were good for more spins than expected."

The colors are very cool!
"I have to say that I am very pleased with how bright these are I took them up to my cabin in the mountains and was amazed at the colors. A bit disappointed that they change colors at different speeds. Also a little tough to get on the chains needs an extra link or something. All in all a lot of fun in the dark when you are still learning how to twirl!!!"

"these are really nice good weight you really have to break them in first or you will be coughing up furr every time you use them. i brushed mine with a cat flea brush and got ride of the lose fluff and works fine now."

meteor is fun but dangerous!!
"these meteor are great fun to spin but they are very heavy compared to fire poi so don't bother unless you're prepared to get bruised! having a good knowledge of poi and at least a basic knowledge of staff is very helpful as the meteor combines elements of both but is much harder than either. These meteor are a good weight and size but the centre of the monkeyfists are cubes of wood and i wonder whether they should be rope all the way through. Having said that this makes no difference to how they look."

"although happy with the little blacklight i was initially dissapointed by the amount of light thrown out of them. i only purchased them after reading a rave review from one of your many satisfied customers. ive also found i have to be careful when transporting them as if their switch knocks on something they tend to turn on. i have to admit now im used to them i do appreciate them considering their size."

Very expensive toll and shipping
"I ordered a fire staff and the first shock came when I saw the enormous shipping costs (for shipping into Germany) which were nearly as high as the price of the staff. The second shock came when the parcel finally arrived two weeks later: additional toll and import tax (about 70 of the shipping costs) which I didn't know about before. Never again will I order something here again. Sorry I don't want to bash your shop (which is really fine!) but the extra costs are just to high for me. The quality of the staff is excellent though. Home of Poi: We are very sorry that this customer did not understand our order confirmation page. Customer was informed of courier shipping costs and that tax/duty would be payable and they agreed to pay these and confirmed order. Link to Germany's import rules were also provided. Quoted shipping cost was more expensive than normal because of the extra long length of the parcel (being a fire staff) .]"

i do not like to use sock poi
"well the pulsing light effect on this is nice but the lack of finger loops and the stretch qualities of the fabric make it hard to hang on to so i ended up getting another set of glow poi."

"after only two days one of the edges of the string broke (no big deal i just did a new knot and lost half an inch..which is good cuz it was too long). maybe im too brutal when i do some moves dunno.. but the sticks themselves r perfect."

Fire Swords

Caps need double-sided tape
"Bought as replacements for my first led set as something broke in the switch and light would not stay on or respond to remote unless continually depressed. Replacements match up perfectly, but the end caps did not come with any tape to keep them in place and they slip off easily. Tube will slip out mid-performance if cap gets knocked off with contact on anything. Caps on switch ends also can't be pushed all the way down or switch will not come back out far enough to turn off manually."
