"i adore these poi. i bought a blue set and they are wonderful. the sock sure does strech a fair bit so i have to hold them somewhat smaller but since that is no issue with these poi its a very minor issue. great value for money!"

its ok.
"i got this because it was shown for contact juggling. it has a bunch of beads in it on the inside. between the LED and the outer shell. great for juggling if you drop them they won't roll away on you. but not the best for contact."

Cool but not ideal for beginners
"I'm something of a beginner spinner and I got these as my first LED poi but I've had some mixed emotions about 'em. While flowlights will stand up to low-intensity impacts I found some small cracks after my first few hours of use. After a few more hours I had broken off the butt end of one of them. To Flowtoys' credit I was able to glue the end back on and the unit still works like a charm. Lord knows I tried to be careful but beginners REALLY need to order the crystal cases. The cases protect the flowlights and give these slightly-too-lightweight lights a much needed weight increase. Though the crystal cases can soften the blows from these flowlights it also puts more weight behind them so they still hurt quite a bit when you take a hit. I kinda like that they take AAA batteries but they suck 'em down a little faster than I'd heard they did. Dimming/erratic button behavior will occur when the batteries get low. Overall flowlights are good but aren't built for newbies."

Funky Foxy Socks
"These look really great when moving. They were a big help learning to do wraps. I bought them because I am no Martha Stewart and this project was outside my scope to make. They arrived on time but the seam along the very bottom of one of the socks was unravelled for a 2-3 section. It was an easy repair (for Mom). For the price these are a value."

"The price and material are fantastic however the treads on the band of the link are poorly formed and consequently quite loose. This varies between individual pieces however (of the 4 I order 3 were fine if tight but one keeps opening) so given the price difference I would just order a spare and call it a day."

not as grippy as expected
"the quality of these is quite well though just a warning to people it won't be as easy to use these as would be regular devil sticks like the non fire lighting ones. they're not as grippy as the ones that I had before that I got at the local hobbie shop a few years ago. so.. it'll just take some practice getting used to them."

the length of the sock poi
"i am very pleased with everyhting from order to shipping...you guys are fast...but the length way the fabric was put together one tends to make a bigger circle even if you hold them at the same point because they are elastic...it is a bit hard if u are a biggener..thanks"

Good for spinning but....
"These are great to spin with. They're bright noticable and overall very aesthetically pleasing. However I've had problems with the battery tops jamming. One of the one I own is jammed so badly that no hands could move it even men who are very strong couldn't get it budge. We even brought out a fork to try and open it up but nothing worked. Also one of them that I bought would turn on and off while I was spinning it. I sent in a complaint to replace the one that would turn on and off but soon afterwards the ball I mentioned above started to jam. I threw out the ball that jammed and replaced it with the new one they sent me to replace the ball that was turning on and off. Maybe this isn't common. I still plan on purchasing from Home Of Poi because they've served me well in the past..."

A Bit Stretchy

Pretty damn good
"These are really good. I bought them as a present for my friend Kyle. He likes 'em alot. But the only problem is they keep turning off mid-spin which is a bit sucky. He's found that you can just give them a bash and they'll turn on again but it's not too good! He likes 'em though so it's ok! :P"

These newer rainbows dont work as well
"Sorry but I have to be honest. The newer versions of the rainbows just don't last long at all. They are very touchy and apt to go out when you need them the most. My troupe has almost stopped using these entirely because they cannot be counted on during performances."
