i just made some poi. out of tennis balls and hemp string. and i have been enjoying them. immensely. i really want the ones with the pretty flags on them. i intend to get really good so i can get some flags and feel really cool spinning colors around myself. and then maybe fire. woah there. but seriously. it's a lot of fun.

and i discovered poi and this site about a week ago, and i was really sad hear that the earthquake affected so many people here. i mean i heard about it on the news but it changed my perspective when i connected it with real human beings here. this is just one more person on the other side of the world whose heart goes out to you. i hope things get a lot better for you.
