Oh hai! I found this site thru a friend, and I'm loving it! I originally was looking into spinning poi only, but after looking through the site I'm definitely thinking of learning staff and hoops too. Anyhoo, here some more info!

What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? Lol it's supposed to be "air speed velocity" XD And african or european?
Toys: Litebright (you know those things were hella cool)
Hobbies other than the obvious: Colorguard, gogo dancing, reading, painting, video games
Education: Currently a high school senior
Favorite Book(s): By The Light of the Moon by Dean Koontz, any other Dean Koontz books, the Anita Blake series by Laurel K. Hamilton
Favorite Movie(s): Gladiator, The Lion King, The Dark Knight, 3:10 to Yuma, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, SLC Punk

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I want to be a visual artist for video games (animation specifically), and I have a feeling I'm going to end up in California someday. Eventually I want to visit Germany, Japan, and Greece.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: I listen to so many genres of music that I can't pick a favorite. Metallica and slipknot are up there in the Metal section though.
Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Hell no! Big booty girls ftw!
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, i don't understand why the screen keeps scrolling around all over the place

Welcome! there is so many people from Texas here, it's
f'ed up! I am the only person in my entire town that spins (jeez). I am 16, a Junior in High School After seeing this site, I kind of want to do double staffs, because the reels look badass, you can change direction instantly giving a robotic look, and you can do this thing that's kind of like an inspin flower I think and it looks ridiculous and I can see a lot of potential in me for double staffs. If you want good tutorials, this site has a lot, and Nick Woolsey's videos are usually very in depth and help a lot. So there you go

I'll have to aggree with Nutella cuz I haven't tried Marmite. Also for Detroit. I have a theory... I think that the further south you go, the more spinners you'll find. Texas is like mass producing and in the north they're like looking for a palm tree in the arctic circle.

I was talking to my cousin and he wanted to see my video so I showed it to him on my iPod and he was like wow and mentioned that he saw it before on the street when picking up his sister in Detroit. What he described to me on how it was different and I was like wow, he saw someone doing fire rope dart on the street What are the odds of seeing that, especially up here. I love your reference too ^^ It's too true.
