Why hello there :)

I am saying hello from Abbotsford, BC, Canada, my name is Darren, I'm also known as: Dr. Durn or just Durn, Dren, Darn, Mane, and fluffy. I am a Gemini as my birthday is on June 17th and was born in 1991 which makes me 17, turning 18 very shortly so I'm pretty excited for that, even though I have a math exam on the 17th...which is totally lame to say the least... frown

I got a nice little midi controller about 3 weeks ago which brings me to my biggest hobby, to put it bluntly: music! Music is the one thing that keeps me going right now, my ipod has to be with me at all times unless I have some other music resource, composing it, listening to it, mixing it and just having fun with it! I've always been very interested and intrigued by body arts, but I've never gotten into them until fall of 2008, which started with parkour. Having explored more body arts I stumbled upon poi about a month ago and pretty much fell in love with it instantly and began exploring poi a whole lot more since, getting into it, practicing it on a very casual basis but having a hard time getting into it with the lack of space, community and equipment. Right now I'm using a pair of socks with baggies of rice in them, they suck to say the least tongue2

the socks are too springy and there are no real handles to hold onto so I'm going to (hopefully) order a pair of cone poi shortly wink

I'm still in highschool as far as education goes, my favorite book would have to be Deathwatch and my favorite movie would have to be Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix.

I'd have to say the Destroyer would win if, and only if it attacked from orbit, Godzilla on the other hand would have the advantage if the destroyer hadn't had taken off yet wink

My favorite show is South Park, hands down

I'm striving for a different life other than the typical job where you get up every morning, go to the office until 6 and come home life. I need to be able to travel, my dream is to make it in the world as a trance producer/DJ to put it plainly.

My favorite music artists have to include Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Infected Mushroom, Deadmau5, Vortex Involute and Shy FX ranging from trance, to goa, to progressive and finally drum and bass, dubstep seems to be fun too.

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Yes.
