The Sam I was talking about is one of the Manchester spinners, with dreads and glasses.
He took it in his stride, although he did do it again, but not as hard as the first time. He also did fire breathing, the look on the volunteers face for that one was priceless.

Basically yes I met someone - as for me thinking it doomed before it starts. It will be a good relationship. Whether it stays romantic is open to question due to circumstances that are FAR more important than 'us'. It's a bigger picture thing...

I am very comfortable with him. Enough know that I am lucky enough to know him in any capacity. Romantic or otherwise... At the moment we're still deciding which it is...

Thanks Lee...

At the moment it is going well. I am adapting to someone whoa bit of a firebrand (albeit crippled) personality as my previous boy toys have been a bit TOO nice for my liking.

This week a developed an eye infect due to a mixture of hayfever and wearing the same sleep-contact lenses for a year (they were a trial pair - it was a LONG trail) as a result I have to refrain from wearing contacts for a while and have ordered new glasses. As a result I was off from work for 3 days. The 3rd day I was actually fine except for not being able to see a VDU without putting my face 5inches away from the screen which kinda goes against health and safety regulations so 'just to be safe' I took another day off work, which they were fine about.

The surprising thing is that instead of going for subtle, blend-into-your-face-from-afar glasses I've gone for more geek-chic look which I am growing rather fond of after years of having the whole 'glasses aren't sexy' fear. Nothing at all to do with the fact that a fair few of my objects of desire actually wear glasses... Oh no not at all... rolleyes

Simon. I am very proud of you. True, the gestation period only being 2 months (nowhere near the 9 months of ordinary mortals) but with twins I can imagine it being more grueling. Just wondering what your cravings were!

Yes I lovely my adorable pink monkey thing that clings onto me whenever I let it (the less said about me leaving him dangling on a tent pole over night with the risk of incurring accusations of parental neglect the better). My clotheshorse is its playground.

I've named him Dario Magento Chu... Hopefully 'Magento' is the masculine of 'Magenta' and looks enough like 'Magneto' to acknowledge my X-Men fanatism roots...
