Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

it's my lungs that are screwed, from smoking, sniffing and general coughing

One thing I found with really strong friendships is that you can survive not seeing or even speaking with either other for ages and still come back together as if you've never been away....

Yes fair enough...but the time spent apart isn't exactly plesant is it? At the moment a few days is an issue. I'm a moper. I'm not doing anything when I go to SA now, just going to sit and watch tv on my mom's sofa for three weeks complaining about the heat. Time well spent as always. I actively don't want to go now, but if I don't I'll alienate the little bit of family that I do have.

All been thought of, not really viable. Thats like saying 'oh, youre in London, why don't you hook up with a friend in Scotland'. I have my options, just no money or means, plus the will is really lacking, so theres not much hope there.
Oh I'm being insanely pessimistic I know, but I'm really comfortable to just sit and moan and stew in self pity for a while, God knows it is warranted, even if only for a while. I 've learnt that if the pressur is building inside, moaning is a slow release mechanism, which has so far kept me from flipping my lid. It's not just the holiday, it's not just the homelessness, it's not just the job, it's not just the money drought,it's not just my frikken birthday, it's not just christmas, it's not just the end of the era, it's not just the whole moving thing, it's not just the inconveniance, it's not just the kick in the teeth, it's not just winter, it's not just loneliness, it's not just withdrawls, it's not just external pressures to be strong, it's not just illness, it's not just threats... it's a combination of all of the above and more.I'm depressed, only I can pull myself out of this rut,I know this, and I can't be bothered. I'm unhappy. I wont post about this again until I'm better so as not to bring you all down... we will just leave the matter at that.

no problems dude, I may still have to convince Marie to come, she's feeling very down at the moment and I can hardly get her to leave the house
