"After purchasing this poi set i find them extremly balanced . They flow really good and look awesome in the dark . I recommend this set for anyone that has always wanted a set of Glow/Flash poi ... but also keep in mind ou will also want to but the protective cases for the LED stick they wont survive a really hard impact without them ... but other than that this product is amaizing and i think every body should have a set ..."

Love the Flow Lights
"However I am a novice at poi - I don't even know any moves yet but wanted to start practicing them with light (instead of fire!). These seem to be very easy to use and look like excellent construction. Since the rope is not metal you don't want to use them for fire. The flowlights are the real star here though - I have banged them up a bit and they still work like an absolute charm."

Cool but not ideal for beginners
"I'm something of a beginner spinner and I got these as my first LED poi but I've had some mixed emotions about 'em. While flowlights will stand up to low-intensity impacts I found some small cracks after my first few hours of use. After a few more hours I had broken off the butt end of one of them. To Flowtoys' credit I was able to glue the end back on and the unit still works like a charm. Lord knows I tried to be careful but beginners REALLY need to order the crystal cases. The cases protect the flowlights and give these slightly-too-lightweight lights a much needed weight increase. Though the crystal cases can soften the blows from these flowlights it also puts more weight behind them so they still hurt quite a bit when you take a hit. I kinda like that they take AAA batteries but they suck 'em down a little faster than I'd heard they did. Dimming/erratic button behavior will occur when the batteries get low. Overall flowlights are good but aren't built for newbies."
