hi just got some fire rope( bring on the summer) was wondering how to attach the finger loops to 23mm. with the 10mm and 13mm I've used key rings. have quite a bit off 13mm- 6m in fact, any funky variations e.g. knots, extensions or shapes- maybe with wire through!?!

Use aluminium tubing (about 10cm or less but not too much less) that is slightly wider than your rope.
Squash and drill through one end of the tube then drill 2 more holes for screws along the unflattened section, push your rope down the tube and screw into place.
Round off the flattened edge and conect a short chain and handles

and voila rope poi

May my balls of fire set your balls on fire devil

This is how I did it.

Some metal tubing that the rope can fit into snugly.
Covered the rope in PVA glue, shoved it in there and squished that end down in a vice.
Drilled a hole through the tubing and rope and attached a small nut and bolt.

The PVA in there holds the rope together above the bolt, and along with being crushed inside the tubing - it'll take alot to get the rope back out again.

The other side of the tube was again squished flat in the vice, and I then drilled a hole in it where you can attach a handle smile
