Hi to all you twirlers and HoP lovers!
I'm Malcolm's latest addition to the HoP family with my first day of work here at HoP today (Mon 16th Oct 06) and I see lots of fun ahead (as well as a huge learning curve)! I am totally new to poi so I hope I don't make too many dumb comments!
A bit about me then:
George McNeur, male, age... "enough"!
Family: wife Heather, 3 boys 12, 13, & 15.
Location - Christchurch, NZ.
working career: Electronics Engineering - 15yrs RNZAF, 6 yrs in Test/Manufacturing and 6.5 yrs network products R&D.

hairy back - yes (well mainly around the shoulder area), but not THAT hairy.

Is that just you being silly? or interested because of the large scaly critter link? or are you using words to suggest something completely different?? Sometimes I wonder about you Rouge...
but, well, I don't think I had a pet dinosaur. I had a pet rock at one stage (but it wasn't a fossilised dinosaur), we had lambs that were pets (until old enough for the meat works), umpteen hens to find the eggs from (since they escaped from the hen house when the roof blew off), the cows and sheep don't count as pets I suspect so that leaves the cats. Do you want to know how to make wild ferral cats into pets?? At one stage my brother and I found some wild ferral kittens and knowing they wouldn't be appreciated around the place, we {did mean things to them [edited to protect the innocent minds]} - they survived all that and were as tame as tame could be afterwards!
(I was very young then) 
.Pets yes, dinosaurs no. Sorry.

What hit me last night? I was getting pasted with a ton of rather excessive head cuts at Kendo, but nothing like that. Felt like someone nudged me with a 10 ton tank!
