I've been looking for them for a while here, but I think the heat may have them in hiding. Any help on sightings?

Anyway, hi, I'm brand new to this whole thing, and struggling to find my way around. Can you tell? This could possibly be the BEST website in the whole of cyberspace though.....

Peace and chocolate,

Chelle

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OK guys, here's a little update!!

Name: Chelle (AKA chelly, chellybean, smelly, oi! or anything else that comes to mind....)

Location: highlands, scotland

Hometown: Nairn

DOB: 12 Dec 1981

Age: 24

Sex: Huh, huh, huh, you said sex.......

Occupation(s): daydreaming fairy

Favorite Food(s): ooo, does peanut butter count?

Favorite Color(s): purple, red and blue - oh yes, and I like green and yellow and orange and pink........

Toys: poi (duh), guitar, bucket and spades....

Hobbies other than the obvious: Music. Any form, any time. Festivals, paddling, climbing trees (if I don't fall - and even sometimes when I do..), dancing, making jewellery, travelling. My guitar and cameras are fun too.

Education: Was OK thanks. Did quite well.

Favorite Book(s): Catch 22. Also all Oor Wullie annuals!!!

Favorite Movie(s): Leaning towards A Night At The Roxbury at the moment. And of course, Amelie.

Favorite TV show(s): South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Prison Break, Big Love, CSI, anything on National Geographic..

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I'm not going to grow up. But maybe complimentary therapies.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Oh lord, this wouldn't fit into a novel. I love music. Period.

Favorite ice cream flavor(s): Why do I have to make such tough decisions? Um, either cherry or pistachio.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.) What does vegemite taste like? I've never tried it. Likewise with marmite. I like nutella though, it's well tasty.......

woo hoo!!!!! Now you know all about me - it's your turn!!

I'm very proud of you indeed my love biggrin hug

haven't bought you any books for ages.... Adam threatened to take me to Borders the other day. Actually I think he just wanted to go back to that HMV near the cinema. But there was a trip to borders mentioned as well...

But instead I got him to start tidying his room. So that was exciting in a different way. Mostly what he did was just move stuff into Beardie's room - he hasn't quite grasped the concept of don't intimidate the guy that pays the bills - but still, it was a step in the right direction. And now he has new curtains.... which he found under some carpet in his room

Plus a new mattress. Although we had to go to Ikea to get that. Along with a small collection of fizzy kids juice for kids

biggrin

Did Adam like the fizzy kids juice for kids? It's quite addictive I find. Campbell even finds himself ordering it in the pub when he goes to the bar intending to get rum!! I think it contains a magic potion that stops you from wanting to ever drink anything else...

Of course you're right. Wouldn't have it any other way. ubblol

I ended up not being able to think of a costume. Or, more to the point, I left all the packing until this morning, and then I couldn't find any black clothes. It seems I may have thrown them all out when I moved in favour of happier colours.. So I took some flares and a nice patterned 70's shirt. Name a chick from a 70's film... I was thinking Texas Chainsaw or something equally as fluffy... wink

Ok this is possibly barking up the wrong tree slightly...

Written by: odd site writer woman

Martha J. Coston perfected then patented her deceased husband’s idea for a pyrotechnic flare. Coston’s husband, a former naval scientist, died leaving behind only a rough sketch in a diary of plans for the flares. Martha developed the idea into an elaborate system of flares called Night Signals that allowed ships to communicate messages nocturnally. The U. S. Navy bought the patent rights to the flares. Coston’s flares served as the basis of a system of communication that helped to save lives and to win battles. Martha credited her late husband with the first patent for the flares, but in 1871 she received a patent for an improvement exclusively her own.

I'm guessing that's the wrong sort of flares?

That LMSP girl is apparently gleefully awaiting my next painting to be online. So there's even more pressure to actually produce something wink

I needs new white acrylic though. I'm going to write to Ken Bromley and ask them if I actually won anything in that art competition last year. And if so, whether I could possibly have some new paints. Otherwise I'll have to dig into my valuable going-to-Scotland monies. And I really don't want to be doing that.

As you may have spotted still haven't gotted round to sending you the email I sort of promised.... I'm doing it now. Honest

I's really quite tired. Adam woked me up early by hammering on my door. apparently he wanted to remind me that I wanted to go into town today. I, quite calmly I thought, explained to him that I knew I wanted to go to town (thank you very much) and that he really doesn't have to hammer on the door to wake me. Just opening the door will usually suffice. And can I please have a another few hours sleep.

So then I lay awake for ages, really needing to go for a pee eek but not wishing to get out from under the snuggly warm duvet, until sleep overwhelmed me once more. And Adam ended up waking me at whatever time it was that I text you at...

By "link" do you mean that art competition? As further exploration revealed that I'm not actually going to be entered into the competition - which runs all year round in bi-weekly sections (or something) - until the 2nd of April. Which is when I shall be safely tucked up in the arms of my you ubblove

So I may have to wait a wee while before I give you that link....

He doesn't buy stuff out of birthday season. Unless he's wasting his money buying crap elephant related things or expensive chocolates/desserts for Dwarf-Face... and he doesn't buy anything at all for Adam. No idea why. But he owes him about 8 years worth of b'day presents eek

Does this dvd have a pretty box? I can just look at the pictures... Maybe one of the other 2 has a multi-region player. When dad goes out dwarfing I'll check.

In other news, I thought you might like this animation. Tis very clever me thunked. I liked the original one (for which there is a link supplied) and wasn't surprised when people started sending me links to it, about 3 weeks after I found it on Deviant, telling me that I should watch this thing and here's a link and "you'll really like this..."
