no i'm not working for C20th fox. i think my point was about all these religious groups going crazy like they did in 2000 saying the end of the world was upon us and thet nostradamus's profecys would come true funny thing is...................you never hear of the satanists rejoicing about it so it can't be the true coming of the apocalypse

umm... 666 isn't the devils number, but the number of the Beast.. there's a difference, however, I can't think off the top of my head (been a while since I watched that documentary)
Now, whilst talking about 6-6-06... how could we forget.. it's the National Day of Slayer people!! \m/
Oh, and heard on the radio, some priest (i think) recons that 6-6-06 was actually like 4 years ago, but somewhere along the lines our calender system got messed up and we lost like 4 years!

I have received several e-mails pointing out that the numerical value of Vav (often transliterated as W) is 6, and therefore WWW has the numerical value of 666! It's an amusing notion, but Hebrew numbers just don't work that way. In Hebrew numerals, the position of the letter/digit is irrelevant; the letters are simply added up to determine the value. To say that Vav-Vav-Vav is six hundred and sixty-six would be like saying that the Roman numeral III is one hundred and eleven. The numerical value of Vav-Vav-Vav in Hebrew would be 6+6+6=18, so WWW is equivalent to life! (It is also worth noting that the significance of the number 666 is a part of Christian numerology, and has no basis that I know of in Jewish thought).

I had to remember it was 6-6-06 today, apart from the fact The Omen is being released (looks like a good movie) one of my mates has it in his msn name about it being the national day of slayer (and I had a psych exam, which didnt help me having to remember the date)

I had heard somewhere that the number 666 is a misinterpriation of something jewish, and the correct number is supposidly closer to tripple 1. At least im sure thats what ive heard, I wanted to check it out on the internet but havnt gotten around to it yet.
I saw a good film called Lost Souls the other night with Winnona Rider in it. It toyed with the idea that the devil would walk the earth just like god did but instead of the world ending, he would just assume control, allthough it ended a little abruptly I thought.
