Posted: A vid of me, 10 days after I started learning poi. not much space and not too interesting. But i finally worked out how to do turns and i think it looks more controlled than the when i first started.
I can also do that thing where you wrap around the tops of your shoulders to reverse direction. I'll post another vid when it stops raining
Video has comedy value aswell because i sort of wack my balls at the end!

Posted: well done, you look like you've got turning with the weave down nicely. Maybe try stalling one poi to go into butterfly instead of forcing the planes. Also, now you have changing direction, if you spin the poi parallel time and practise turning with them, that will give you a good place to start learning reels.
Oh and try to smile a bit more!

Posted: thanks. will try them things. how can i smile, i was expecting to go to the park in the summer sun to learn but instead its raining. i was concentrating aswell and as an added bonus i wacked my gonads
