hey i'll try to make it to the 30th if i can, sounds fun. but i may be in czech by then. if somebody could keep me updated with a pm to remind me i've got lots to juggle mentally but i'll try to keep checking in.

meanwhile if anyone knows about any really cheap hostels in cool areas of london (or prague, germany, etc.) i'd love some advice [Old link]

I should be going on the 10th, and I'm taking the train down to Falmouth.

Hi all,
I'm a noob and its nice meeting y'all
Stumbled across the Clapham poi meet a few weeks ago while having a picnic (I twas the short Chinese dude for those of you that was there) and I'd really like to start going regularly.
Turned up yesterday about 5.30 and was all alone confused
Well not totally alone....there was about 3000 other people listening to some very loud music.
Do you all meet every week and in the same place, under the tree near the clay footy pitches? Sounds like a few people are going to be around on the 10th and just wanted to make sure I dont miss you guys.

If you're getting hit, move faster...

Sorry that I never made it there yesterday frown

I was looking forward to it but I didn't get in from Saturday night out until 2pm Sunday. I had a bath and then unintentionally fell asleep on the sofa (for 6 hours).

aimée - its clapham this sunday and we still havn't arranged things yet..

squarexedge - right! to the organisation cave!

*a couple of hours later aimée opens her email*

Written by: squarexedge

right kids.. here goes

we're getting the 12.13 train to clapham junction from hastings. because we are hoping to buy groupsaver tickets, you must all be at the station by 12.05. IF YOU ARE NOT THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE FULL FARE. groupsaver tickets = super cheapness.

the train will 2 hours. please bring things to keep yourselves entertained on the journey. these things could include travel games, books, personal stereos, food, drink and/or parrafin fumes.

the train will reach clapham junction at 14.24. from there we shall walk to the common, where i am reliably informed there will be spinning, frisbee and other such fun. hurrah! um..yes..so remember all your toys, dipping equipment and parrafin.

please bring only what you can carry around safely without moaning and/or losing things.

trains home could be slightly more fun, if we are going to stay for fire there are two choices

21.53 with one change at hampden park, getting in at 00.03

22.38 changing at waterloo for waterloo east (approx 15 minutes to get from one to the other, cant remember how long its taken me in the past?) getting in at 00.58

loz x

ubblol ubblol

Gotta love that laydee biggrin rolleyes hug hug

21.53 won't leave you with too much time to do fire. It was still fairly light at 21.05 this evening, when they decided to throw me out of Soho Square. 22.38 sounds better from that point of view.

I'll probably not get there terribly early, because I'll be heading back from Cambridge and a friend's wedding the day before, but I look forward to seeing everyone there... smile
