Okay, everything's ok by me, I'll be flying into London tomorrow morning with my dad
However, I'm not bringing my fire poi with me, so if weather permits, and if I feel like it (normally not, actually, but I spin alone) I might bug someone to let me use their poi for one spin. Who knows, we'll see.

I too was rubbish but was being debriefed on Germania. am away this weekend but have the next few weekends off - so what's everyone doing on the 17th??

public transport sucks donkey balls on a sunday (everytime they finish weekend rail engineering works i seem to move house to somewhere where it's starting) and I'd have to leave stupidly early to get home before midnight.

I'll be downright unimpressed with TfL if they can't get it mostly working again by tomorrow, let alone sunday. Looking in the history books, these were tiny blasts (though with more effect on people) compared to the, say, 1/2 tonne - 1 tonne of fertilizer at South Quay in 1996. I'll see you all there on Sunday!

Its nice to hear that people are getting on with their lives and not being bullied by the terrorist, ye-haw power to the people.
So lets be there Sunday and light up a good one for the victims.
(Of course thats easy for me to say as I live around the corner
)And I dont think that people have to apologise for not turning up. After all I thought spinning was about having fun and enjoying yourself. If on the day you cant make it or dont feel like it well, we'll be happy to see you the next time
(A bit hypocritical coming from someone who only accidently poped up once because I happened to be there and have missed a them since due to a gaping hole in the leg...)
Oh and also, for the regulars, does this meet get hasseled a lot by the police and public. Cos it'd be nice to air some of the more martially toys but I dont want cause trouble or get kicked out.
(Like I did out of Regents park because apprently thats a 'Royal' park and they dont like long pointy things there...or climbing trees for that matter.)

I spoke to laurel on the phone yesterday morning, and she said she wasn't too happy abut using the train to get down there. I'm not too bothered, life has to go on around the chaos, and as SNOOPoi said to me earlier security in London will be topnotch over te next few days/weeks, so there isnt much to wrry about?
I'm not sure whether we'll be there or not, needs chatter with other people..keep your fingers crossed.

really pissed off that i wont get to meet you all, but thats the way it goes, no doubt we'll be there sometime over the summer!!
we are however spinning in alexadra park as usual if anybody fancies popping down instead of goign to the bigger and better london meet

In a lame attempt to coax the hastingers back, the chances of another attack, on the train you could be on, are *immensly* slim, or at least that's what I believe.
Anywho, can we please get a definate list of who is coming?
