Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

My Ma's being going to Ballito on hols for as long as I can remember. I basically just told her I wasn't going to come visit in SA unless she provided me with an ocean for a couple of weeks, and Taaa daaa, Ballito it is! Not complaining, it's close to loads of stuff and theres sand and sea and seafood, I'm so there it is criminal, I may even take up drinking again to celebrate when I get there! hehe

Hmmm... Ballito is popular as a matric week destination, and I think it gets fairly nuts over New Year as well. Still, the beach is nice.

Oh I won't be staying in Ballito for new years, possibility of going to flux in mooi river for the new years fest, or to a party in umdloti or closer to Durbs, it's not in my hands, but it's defenitly not going to be there!

Hey Mynci...any news on weather you can make my Birthday yet, twould be ace to see you and Marie again. Don't know if you've decided on amything for your bday or not, but if it's the first weekend in Dec I defenitly can't come now, we are having early xmas with Ben's folks

I'll talk to marie about it tonight. we're not sure yet what the plan is for Doms birthday.
You wouldn't have liked my birthday anyway lolo
Plan on creating a list of things to slowly inflict pain on my guests. Climbing first (the 1st time you do it your hands and fore arms are completely drained and numb)
Then maybe some bowling (with numb arms)
Then a meal (with even number arms)
then possibly chill at mine with mario sonic olympics on the wii when everyones arms are screwed just to finiish them off
then I get to watch people try and drive home when they can't even pick up their keys!
If I have to feel old, then everyone else can see how it feels too *maniacal*

I'm bored of winter already, its fr...fr..freezing! Either work puts the heating on and I melt, or not and its freezing...surely theres some sort of law that prohibits them making us work in these conditions. It's hard to type!

yes! because that's what people say when they see me. "oo" and "Ahh" because I am so amaziingly beautiful - like fireworks or a cute puppy - You know it's true lois, my glory is blinding in it's magnificence, people in the street often bow down before me asking if there is anything I need or want, it can be such a bore

Lois spoke to Marie and we want to come but we need to figure out the best way. Dom wants to go bowling for his birthday so we need to see what date is best for his party so we can fit everything in.
