ok, I suppose I could put this also in the Help section or technical discussion section, but since it is video related...

I want to post some videos here from my weekend in London at "special clapham", but I'm having problems posting .MOV files to a picture gallery site run by Gallery v1.4.1. Now it says .MOVs are valid file types for uploading to my gallery, but it just comes back and says the file doesn't exist. there are no problems when I try to post a .JPG from the same source directory.

any hints? (I'd ask the guy hosting my gallery, but he's asleep right now and he's pretty busy anyway)

You know you can upload videos to your gallery bit?

Or is that what you are trying now?

well, I'm allocated like 1963k, and the moves are like 2megs each...

I did try to post them to my gallery, but it didn't work there either - I'm guessing becuase of the size limit I have.

you could call rename them .jpg files, and then once who ever has downloaded them they could change it back to a .mov file...

bit roundabout but might work.
