Dunc, I live right next to the college. The road at the foot of the campus is the one I live on. smile I don't really ever have an excuse for not being there.

Tuesday 16th Nov [continued]

Ok, so I went home, rang my landlord, got them to come round and collect the £952 in cash that I owed them for all the rent from August to now. smile Then I rang my insurance company and shouted at them for taking my bike away and not bringing it back. Then I rang a few contacts at UCAS and Universities UK to get quotes for my story, wrote the story, and emailed it to my editor.

Brad came and met me at college and we went to CircSoc. Josh turned up with my staff which he has fixed (screwed the wicking in properly) so I had a lovely time dancing around like a loon.

Came up with a couple of really nice butterfly variations that I hadn't thought of before, one turning it from a butterfly, to a buzzsaw butterfly, to a reverse butterfly, to another buzzsaw one on the other side, and then back to the normal one. THe other one is like a mexi-wave/ttn thingy, whereby the hand that drops back goes over the first shoulder as normal, then goes over yer head and over the opposite shoulder, then through the front again as the other hand does the same thing. Took me a while to stop hitting myself in the head, but it looks really pretty.

I must emphasize, these are obviously not new moves, but they are new to me.

Went home and slept.

Wednesday 17th Nov

No college today, so I woke up about 2pm and drank tea until I felt like coming in here to check my mail.

Spent about 3 hours on the phone to Mojo in the evening. The long and the short of it is that she thinks I’m wonderful, loves me like crazy and wants to spend the rest of her life with me, but isn’t sure how she can trust me. I told her to make a leap of faith (as we all have to do if we want trust in our lives) and that we should just sort it out.

It’s silly really, both of us want to be together so much but we let things come between us all the time.

Thursday 18th Nov

I’m such a plum. I woke up late again today, so after mailing my ethics teacher with yet another apology, here I am again checking my mail.

Haven’t spoken to the Church Hall about the Falmouth 2.1 thing yet, but I’m gonna phone the President of CircSoc in a minute to get their number. Hopefully all will be good.

I spoke to my dad just now, he’s just spent 5 days in Malta (official Dad review of Malta: Dirty) so I rang him to get the gossip. He’s gonna put some cash in my bank account this afternoon as the kids are coming down here to stay with me this weekend, rather than me going up there. This is decidedly a good thing, but it does mean I won’t see Mojo this week. I think that’s a bad thing, but maybe it’ll be good in the longer term.

I really don’t know what’s going on there.

I’m thinking about popping up to the art department to see about being a life model. Scary, but who doesn’t wanna be naked in a room full of students? biggrin

Heh. My dad said that, about being in one pose for a long time. He recommends not letting your legs go dead. I think I'll be so petrified I won't have time to worry about that. biggrin

Thursday 18th [cont]

Am in the library, even though it's about to close. I've been thinking very, very hard, and I had to rush in to pick up an essay by Locke and a book by Sartre. I think i'm starting to understand what it is I've been trying to understand for a couple of months, and now I have to find a way to articulate it.

Beware. Nothing you see on a TV screen, read in a magazine or newspaper, or anything you may or may not read on the internet is real. If you do not directly experience something with your own five senses,
DO NOT TRUST IT.

Have a nice evening.

Judging by the photo of you with Brad, all painted red, your chest at least looks good enough for a Life Class. Lucky them, I say. I wonder if they'll spot that you're a Warlock? And will they know the sign? Hee hee. ubblol

Lots of hug hug I hope all goes well with Mo and you both get your lives sorted satisfactorily.

Good thing I read your post today, at least I know where you'll be this weekend. I'll call you. Big smoochy kiss kiss from me.
Lossa luv

Friday 19th Nov.

Change of plan. Spoke to Mojo. She told me to go away and listen to a song called "The Promise", by Tracy Chapman. I am now going to go to Lanson to see the kids, so I can see her as well. Tis all gonna be lovely.

I spent three and a half hours last night disproving reality, and I think I am starting to understand this whole philosophy thing. smile

Now I just have to write down what I've learned.

It's true. I got to Bodmin station after two hours of delays and replacement bus services, and spoke to Mojo from a phone box.

I said: "I listened to the song. Is that how you feel?"

She said:"Yes"

I said: "Are we gonna sort things out?"

She said "Yes"

I said: "Good. About time. I love you."

She said: "I love you too."

I am deliriously happy, but it is tempered by a bit of wisdom. No premature chicken counting going on just yet. I told Izzy that Mo and i may be getting back together and she said "What if she changes her mind again?" If a 5 year old understands, you have to pay attention. It's a fair point, and we have a LOT of talking to do, not least since she's off to India in less than a month. But she seems determined that she really does want me back, so I'll see what she has to say.

Lets hope you never go gloomy again, because it will have to be worse than the hide tanning........ who knows how scary it will get! wink
