Posted: I just bought some kevlar rope for these fire ropes im making and I have evvverything except for one thing to make them. I am missing a 1" diameter (inner diameter) pipe to secure the chain to the kevlar.
I've looked like everywhere for it but I cant find it. If any of you used this method when you made your fire ropes can you tell me where you got the piping. Like any place(Home Depot, Lowes, ACE, TrueValue, or something). Thanks

Posted: hmmm. well i used aluminium curtain pole piping. and the bloody thing keeps pulling out of the end. im gonna make a new set with the 1" rope doubled up all the way down and wicking wrapped round the bottom and in 3 places on the way up with a ring through the top of the loop created then it will never pull out. ill get some photos up here...sometime

Posted: We found it we found it!! Turns out I had 1" copper piping at my house... fits rather perfectly I might add. I've now been deemed the "God of parts for poi". Hehehe..
