Posted: Here's a glowstring video of me from almost a year ago. I know that glowstringing were once viewed as a bastardized version of poi and looked down upon, but please keep an open mind and give me a chance. Some of us glowstringers tried very hard to break away from that stereotype and try to stand out from a "traditional-poi-look."

Posted: Nice vid. I just recommend that you move the camera a bit further back as you cant see the sticks a lot of the time cuz they're off screen.
Let's turn those old bridges we crossed into ashes. We'll blaze a new trail, and torch the rough patches.

Posted: PK : whoa! you responded to my video!! i feel so honored. glad you like it man. i didnt see much of your videos but from what i saw i liked them. it's been a while since i checked back on HoP. im happy to see people seem to start becoming more open minded. =)
Elanna: thanks! i guess im finally here.. =P
ICoN: ya i know the camera's a bit too close, but my room was cramped. I didn't even meant to make this into a video when i recorded. it was just clips for myself to keep track of my combos. but after i finished recording i thought it would make an ok video if i just toss them together. so i did.

I now understand tracers thanks to you and Rev. Still can't get them to work with socks though, I think they just grip too tight.

Posted: Def. a wicked video man, I have watched it countless times over about the last 4 months (since I seriously started glowstringin), been more than an ample source of inspiration, still I can do but a small portion of what is shown. lol
I think glow has a solid place in poi for sure dude.

Posted: T&B + Brian: thanks for the compliments! it's exciting to hear how people talk like this, gives me faith in what i believe in i guess. it's not just glowstring/poi, it's a philosophy.
PK: that means a lot to me, man. it's leaving me speechless... makes me extra happy that i decided to come to this community.
PoiPoiPoi: whoa are you matt from spherculism.com? i checked out your "tutorials." you are crazy good man!! it's such an honor that you liked my video. in your freestyles i see a lot of what i meant by "taking advantage of the tool." using the weight of the poi to do things that nothing else can do. wow!
thanks everyone for taking your time to view my video and comment! =D

Posted: this community is an awsome one, very over whelming at times, i have some of the best friends i could ever have wished for and never met personally. i also have an open door to any one that wants to come visit the UK and head north on their travels, i remember having 18 people crashed out in my house and all people i have met through hop, your more than welcome if ever you come to the UK dude, would be an honour to have you visit if ever that arises.
im most certainly glad you decided to post on hop and joing the community, i have been so focused on unicycles and juggling the past few months its been crazy, my life is crazy right now, but i am my self returningto this land called hop and following poists again trying to cope with the influx of new members and whats going on around the world.
your input would be most welcome on my own community site, we have over 360 members for poiinthepark.net now, which for me is over whelming also.
always nice to have many new people to call friend right now, i much need them right now to take my mind of things at home and give me some thing to focus my time on.
anyway... i gotta dash been a long night at work.
be kewl dude.
