we know miss fluff bombs and the fraggle currently known as c@ntus are off galavanting but we live in the hope that they will return here when they get home smile

kuro pops in from time to time but i think he is having a similar experience to cass in that many of his close hop friends do not post regularly. frown

i miss smallboy on hop frown

someone replaced him with a high-flying, bmw driving career type dude who does real work all day.

i still get to hug him regularly though and witness his well-earned continuing success smile hug

Sad ne! I'd say people drop back from time to time and just seem overwhelmed by all the new members and slip away again. I still drop by from time to time but I don't have a HOP screen up on my computer all day now.

I miss lseeing lots of people that used to post - time to give way to the new generation of HOP posters methinks.

Tao Star - indeed, Newbies good and great! Without newbies the board would not be what it is, a v. successful forum.

I've left and come back to Home of Poi again. Now I find it takes a lot of time to follow the threads etc which alas I don't have anymore. I do find that the board has changed - but that's probably just me becoming an old fogie.

I still enjoy popping back to HOP, but don't envisage posting as much as I did say even 1 year ago.

Very grateful to HOP for all the lovely people I have met through here and hope to meet when I take off travelling in a couple of years. By then you too will most likely be bemoaning the fact that you can't keep up with all the new happenings on HOP or perhaps (but hopefully not) have already slipped away to shine light and love on some other forum.

Awww GUYS!!! I didn't know you missed me that much ubbcrying ubblove I'm still about.. I guess I too got a little overwhelmed with the huge influx of newbies.. and kinda got a little peeved with the constant enthusiastic jabbering redface .. but I realise that they were just oozing with the excitement of poi.. I'm just a jaded old fart biggrin the fraggels are having a ball in the warm places of the planet - lots of regular updates when they can..

I've been a bad girl and since I got together with Paul, I've nto really been spinning much.. hit a wall.. can't fathom BTB 5 beats or reverse BTB.. I've got depressed coz I don't think I'm much good rolleyes... Ros showed me waist wraps at the Beautiful Days festie which I've kinda been practising here and there.. it's just too bloody cold and I'm old and lazy.. but hopefully the spring will get me into it again - I just need my confidence back I guess, when I say I do poi - it's not a wow! I normally get a 'oh one of a million of people who do - so it kinda knocks me a bit so I just keep quiet... roll on the summer tho.. I'll get me balls out again!

I do pop in every now and then.. but I'm a Psy-forum gal now.. biggrin

wave Hi Malcolm and cuddles to Seven!

Hugs to you all!

Niki - see you in a field somewhere this summer.. wink

It's all about circles innit. I remember when I was a "newbie", and a similar thread started, and some old skool HoP'ers were reminising about people from way back when....

Felt a bit guilty being new and having a member number in the 2000's.....

But it's really nice to be able to sit back now and have the "I remember so-and-so" chats.

So yeah - a few months/years will pass and all the current newbies will be doing the same.

Like I say....t'is all about the circle of life! wink

And yeah to Stix* - good to hear from you honey. Look forward to being ubbloco and weavesmiley with you in the summer!

As for pele's mention of nomad, he posted in the france holiday thread a few days ago. Some people are most stealthy, like you don't notice them posting at all, but then when you look you find they've sneaked in 100 posts since you thought they disappeared

An my crazu sis' Dibs.... and lurvely rozi! And pozee..... i miss pozee, he ran off to school adn now no one every hears frmo him, and i hardly ever hear from dulce flames. DFQ was moving to L.A> and then i never heard from her again. And Kali's off galivanting in germany, and such. And I miss nomad, i never talked to him here but he was wicked cool irl.... And then i left the east coast and never heard a word again. I mean, I'm not around so much anymore anyhow, but....yeah...lots of people missing, and it feels sort of weird. Maybe Katinca's right. Speaking of which....I miss [Josh]. *grins* *sighs*
