I was reading about your weather in your intro, I'm so glad that I don't live in tornado alley anymore. We just had to put up with a lot of rain and 75 mph of wind. I count myself lucky that I didn't lose my electricity like they did a block over.

We very rarely have things like this either...that's why it's such a shock!

The last time that we had anything remotely this bad with tornadoes was in 1984...the year I graduated from freakin' high school!!!

I just came back from picking up Brandi from school and went out to check out my pond....it was about 2 or 3 feet below the dam yesterday and is now running over....I now have a waterfall and a stream...saved a few fish...one of them was probably a 6 or 7 pound Bass!!! Would have loved to have pulled him out on a rod but, not have him washed over the dam!!! He was NOT a happy fishie!!! Much happier now, I'd say!

Sorry, Gidg! I tossed him back in the pond. You'll just have to come and toss in a line and see if you can pull him back out.

Oh, and I DO know how to clean fish...learned when I was about 5 or 6, I guess. Was so long ago that I disremember!!! shrug biggrin

Around here the Catfish are considered garbage fish, they stay small and are no where near the size of channel cats. I've had catfish before, I just can't seem to get past the garbage fish part.
