Now, see, that's one of the hardest parts of parenting...If your child is being deliberately naughty becuase they want to be punished, then it is inappropriate to scold them in the usual way.
It's only by not giving in to demands like these, that we can make the world a better place...

Charles, I can see you are a very good parent 
You don't need to worry about Wills anti-chafing cream, I think he has already fished them out and is sucking on them. If you say BOO! to him he might even swallow a few and we can see what words come out in his nappy in a few days time!

I think she is just trying to get out of paying for the bill...
PS Raisins work even better than Scrabble tiles, they just come out puffy and need to be dried again. Then they are ready to re-use!

Be careful of sultanas up the nose. The get up there and kinda go rotten , but dont show up on an xray i am told. Same with peas. They produce really vile snot, putrid stuff. ewwwww.....
But I have since learnt how to get sultanas out of the nose.

In fact, they were going to be balloon arms and balloon legs, coz they are light and cheaper to freight... ;-)

im ok lil chicken! It was a chest infection...
My dads a nurse and he helped arsn to look after me...
I should really clarify something too... coughing blood is not a normal preggers thing to have happen... just all the OTHER aliments I was going through..

Thanks for that Valura, I was about to get into my Energiser Safety Bunny suit and tell everyone that coughing blood is NEVER normal, and to see a doc straight away.
By the way, COUGHING BLOOD IS NOT NORMAL AND EVEN IF YOUR DAD IS A NURSE, YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR STRAIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I met Yaqub. He threw a ball at me. repeatedly. for about 2 hours. Like it was some kind of game. Or something....
Charkles, was there a reason why you seemed so gloomy when you exited my thread earlier? Is it anything that can be fixed with penguins?

And C@ntus, of course it's a game. There is written and anecdotal evidence spanning millenia about how children throw items to be pickep up by older, less wiser beings than themselves. The current consensus is that isn't the picking up that is the reason for the repetition, it's the practicing of the throw.
And as he can throw very well now, I guess we have you to thank. :-) Ta.
He's even got a very interesting view of what juggling is. He thinks it is throwing balls into the air until they all hit the ground, and gets quite upset if I juggle for any length of time without dropping them all!
And thank you for your concern, but I wasn't gloomy, just trying to see if anyone understood that cuttlefish aren't really boys or girls, they are hermaphrodites.
That being said, I'm sure penguins coudl fix a lot of my ills.....
