Guys, I just had an amazing , amazing week end in Paris with Kali, Dom and Genevieve + Pierre (soon to be HOP members we hope ). It was absolutely lovely though I am so tired to day I want to cry ... Otehr than that it was wicked, those people are adorable and are in my heart for ever !!!!!! I allready miss them terribly !!!!!

Yeah that was a pretty crazy weekend. Think I'm still sore from all that shrekking. So many people, so many languages! You haven't shrekked till you've done it in Flemish.
It was lovely meeting Dom. Hope me and Geneveive didn't scare you guys too much with our um.....don't even know what to say to describe the twisted state of our minds.

SO looking at this quantitatively, is it safe to assume that Cassandra is in fact better than sex?

hmmmm... here is a little something for you all ... some yummy vegetarian thai receipie
Tom Yam Hed Hot and Sour Mushroom Soup
500g straw mushrooms
3 cups water
1 stalk lemon grass cut into 2" long pieces
2 stalks kha (Siamese ginger)
3 kaffir lime leaves
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons lime juice
10 chillies chopped
1 stalk spring onion or coriander, chopped
Directions: clean mushrooms and cut in half. Boil the water in a pot and add khaa lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves for about and 2 minutes. Keeping heat high add mushrooms. Add soy sauce then set aside and season with lime juice and chillies. Op with spring onion or coriander leaves.
Tom Kha
Hot & Sour Coconut Soup with Vegetables
1 cup straw mushroom
½ cup hard tofu
1 stalk lemongrass cut 2" pieces
2 kaffir lime leaves
2 stalks khaa (Siamese ginger)
½ cup onion
½ cup tomatoes
1 teaspoon green onion or coriander
10 chillies
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice
3 cups thin coconut milk (1 can coconut + 1 can water = thin milk)
Directions: Bring coconut milk to a boil, add lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and khaa for 2 minutes, then add all ingredients. Season with soy sauce, lime juice and chillies to taste.
Mango with Sticky Rice
1 lb sticky rice
4 tablespoons coarse sugar
2 cups fresh coconut milk
½ - 1 tablespoon salt
1 cup thick coconut cream
2+ mangos, medium to large
Directions: Soak sticky rice in warm/hot water for 10-15 minutes, then strain. Cook over a steamer for 30-40 minutes then put in a bowl. Dissolve sugar and salt in fresh coconut milk and heat (not to a boil). Add to sticky rice and stir in, letting sit for 15 minutes. Slice the mangos. Serve rice and top with coconut cream, then top with sliced mango.

YAY ! YAY ! YAY ! tell me dates and stuff in advance though as I'll be in Barcelona for work end of august / early sept and also need to make sure I can have a place for us all to crash. But otehr than that, it'd be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo great to have two princesses and a prince (yep Cantus, you cynical angel, I am talking about you, brother !!! ) come over to visit me !!!!!!
