how do you get coloured flame

ok, ok, this might have been covered before but, I'm new to this site and I'm hoping to get away with my stupidity.how do you make coloured flame? what effects does it have on the wick? and which stuff makes what colours?also I use fiberglass rope for most of my wicks, should that cause any problems when using colours?

Dude, it's been covered SOOOOO many times. I've posted endlessly (as I tend to do) about this topic. There's a FAQ on it in the A-Z search. Please do a search (the little "search" button above these posts) for "colored flames" or "coloured flames" depending on which side of the street you drive on...Good luck, and welcome.(Moderators owe me another nickel)
