Posted: I was at a party Saturday night, and this guy was spinning strings sort of 'chuck style. There was a stick on each end and he held his strings by the stick on the other end... they strings had some sort of strap on the on end, that wrapped about the stick in the middle with two buttons. Any one know what I am talking about? Is there a special point to having it rigged like that?

Posted: I have seen something simmilar at several raves, one guy even had two green glow sticks on each end AND a flashing red light at the midpoint between the two sets of glow sticks It looked realy cool at high speed chuck! but I am not sure about that button rig you are describing
