Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.
Location: Logan City, south of Brisbane, QLD, Oz.
Hometown: As above.
DOB: 17/09/1969
Age: 36 and counting...
Sex: Wouldn't that be nice?
Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.
Favorite Color(s): Green
Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...
Favorite TV show(s): Don't watch tv.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I really... wish... I knew.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Lately... Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, JBT, Blue King Brown, Donavon Frankeneiter, Rob Sawyer, The Waifs... blues/roots stuff.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Vanilla.
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.)

I'm so glad that I'm not in a place that has that type of rain.
We just have the constant rain ... all the time ... except for two months out of the year ... or atleast that's how it feels at time ... this weekend was not one of those times.

As for downpours, we had one on Saturday night. It was a little scary how quickly it came over and the strength of it. Made a very interesting drive home i can tell you!!
Ye, I heard about that one...and the subsequent cold snap, afterwards...might better be bracing yourself for a cooler than usual winter...what with the very rainy summer...never know?

Yep, I've got all my papers together and am getting ready to send them off to Pat...he'll just have to put the rest of the stuff with them and then send them in...then it will be down to the nail biting time.

I am no mister Gita, she is now Mrs Regazzoli. It says so on all her things...
As for married life, its seems a lot like non married life apart from the ring i wear. So all in all its pretty awesome. I'm sure she'll come in and tell you otherwise...

*giggle*...don't worry...it's not gonna be too much...just adding a few flowers to a wreath during the ceremony...and I wanted some of our best friends to be the ones to do it...so yourself a the lovely Gita will be doing it together...but you won't be the only ones...gonna have to snare a few more people, too.
