Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.
Location: Logan City, south of Brisbane, QLD, Oz.

DOB: 17/09/1969
Age: 36 and counting...

Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.

Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...
Favorite TV show(s): Don't watch tv.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I really... wish... I knew.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Lately... Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, JBT, Blue King Brown, Donavon Frankeneiter, Rob Sawyer, The Waifs... blues/roots stuff.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.)

I don't think thats weird at all..whenever someone gets a present in this house and its wrapped in bubble wrap its like war of who gets to pop them..which is usually mum because thats just the kinda stuff she is given..then she pops it at the most annoying times.. grrrrrrerm..maybe we both need help?!?!

umm...can i ask a question? so...umm chicken...you're going to see the man on the 8th & the 10th (nice!) so that leaves the 9th for a spin at your place yes? cos that's the same night i'm moving house & all us banana benders have to go vote & also is someone else's housewarming party! busy night that one!

Mmmm... chocolate. I'm bought some chocolate muffins yesterday at shopping. And i've just started on one to my surprise its a triple choc and the centre of the muffin is melted chocolate. *insert homer drooling noise here* Mmmmm muffins!!!!

mmmmmm.... chocolate... that muffin does look mighty good, paul...
raisin toast... thick cut raisin toast... with plenty of butter (real butter, not yellow-dyed liquid plastic) is a perfect breakfast food... particularly when you toast it and the aroma wafts all throughout the workplace, driving all your fellow workers insane with jealousy... yes... I'll share with u guys, but not that lot...
