sighs at the up coming A2 exams - the important ones for uni *sigh* just when ive got some new toys as well - i dont wanna study frown *sniffle* ah well only... 7 maths exams and 4 physics exams - joy

exams are pointless - they only test your memory as much as you intelligence or skill (except in maths when there is a fair degree of aplication)

Im poorly..so havn't been in school past few days..and have a german oral exam tomorrow. do I -
a) go in tomorrow anyway and be all poorly all over the place and find out when my exam is, which will prolly result in me waiting till the end of the day because my surname is W frown
b) get mum to ring up school and find out, then only go in for the exam.

I have a English SAC that goes for 6 periods over a span of a week and a half... 150 minutes on each writing analysis/essays. (250 minute exam all up)

In about a month or so I have a GAT, (3 hour exam which tests you on every subject)

And that's about it for now....let's not get started on my end of year exams.

Year 12 isn't that bad! smile

SATS last a week. They have exams in Math, Science and Literacy. They have 2 exam papers in each sunbject ,and a reading test.

My son is revising as much as he can but gets stressed very easy so all rules of no ps2 on a school night have been lifted, if he does his homework and revision of cause.

He's 11. He'll do great we know that if he comes out with level 5's without trying then he should do good. i don't presure him though he knows that only he can put the effort in to learn and that its not going to pop into his head from no-where. he also wants to go Cambridge, or Bristol UNI he's not decided yet!! lol.

So far so good- Nietzsche was pretty reasonable and my Deleuze went suprisingly well considering the amount of material I had to digest in such a short amount of time... Only a wanky exam for a wanky class on Friday and then a final hardcore Wittgenstein exam a week later and I'm done! biggrin

I got one easy roleplay about being in a resturant. Then a harder one about being on an exchange trip to Frankfurt frown
Then I had my questions on my chosen topic house home and daily routine, then a set of random questions on freetime and work.
*fingers crossed i didn't screw up too badly*
