Hello everyone, those that are interested getting together with some hand drummers and jammin. Let me know. I have contacted the local city council and so far they are fine with using a park by the lake. And any drummers in the area that want to get involved let me know aswell.

i went to high school there many years ago. does it still have that rather optimistic slogan 'hamilton - where it's happening?'
good luck with getting others along. im afraid i dont know anyone on this board who live there.

Hey Hozay. I haven't heard that slogan myself for a while now.
I'm based in auckland now but spent about 5 years in hamilton, studying at Uni and working.
Ask the Student Association on campus if you can put a few posters up at the Uni, and go round some of th ebackpackers as well, you might get to meet sdome really cool travellers every now and then.
There's also a fairly strong fire community in Raglan, maybe try to get in touch with them too...
