That's OK I have broad shoulders! But it is nice to hear Charles laugh; you know that he’s such a stick-in-the-mud .

Definition:
Stick-in-the-mud: A person that is unbending and unmoving. Does not like any changes in their lives and does not know how to have fun.

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is NOT.

Hmm I always thought a stick-in-the-mud was a stick, in mud!

So, things don't really mean what they mean, they mean something other than what they mean?

(Big SouthPark Movie type irony here for anyone who decides to look)

no stick in the mud is a game where you.... tag people and stuff. sign of old age when you can't remember the rules of a kids game. Actually this all seems very familiar, i think we might have covered this game in another thread already... possibly even mine? i don't know.

Anyway i just came to deliver some of these
and some of these
and one of these

My middle boy put a chip in our TV screen doing the scene between Inigo and Westly and spun the teachers out in Kindy as the fight scene was quoted word by word with actions in class.

He always was Inigo. He would fence across the lounge jumping over furniture. Made us proud.

That's deadly (the moibus strip), just explained it to my colleagues here, they're well impressed
They were all freaked out here yesterday too with that 'making a clockwise circle with your foot and then drawing the number 6', that's well freaky

My 4 year old boy loves princess bride and could quote most of the movie. He loved the scene where Inigo fights Westly on the cliff top and would leap around the lounge reenacting the scene. His dad was cleaning the screen and found a chip in the screen from Edward fighting Westly a little too close with his sword. He also would do the scene at school.
Does that make more sense.

Well, I'm glad its in a girly manner. Imagine if I picked you up and you sounded like Charles? Of course, no offense meant to Charles if in fact he would squeel in a girly manner, either!
K, I'm just going to shut up now and enjoy Myste in my arms.
